CONCEPT
Introducing our latest creative community microgrid installation for AArt in Residence, an incredible non-profit that explores the potential of public art in Antelope Valley.
AIR presents annual open air exhibitions on their property at the foot of the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve and public programming and workshops from the Cedar Center for the Arts in downtown Lancaster.
We love that they work with organizations like Lost Angels Career Center to integrate vocational training for disadvantaged youth such as welding and are pleased that this new clean energy system can continue to power their impactful work and displace the diesel generators they used to rely on.
We’ve previously supported AIR with free clean energy on past programming such as powering performance and cinematic art from Dani Bird. We are thankful to Helen Frankenthaler Foundation on the grant to make this happen.
